Hey, so good to see you! My name is Mercedes, the CEO and founder of Rooted in Curls x RiC Beauty Supply. My passion for natural hair care started long before this business ever existed. Like many women with curly and coily hair, I struggled to find products that truly nourished my curls - products that moisturized, encouraged growth and supported the health of my scalp without causing irritation. 

Through my own natural hair journey, I learned that healthy hair starts at the root - from scalp care, moisture balance and using products that respect your hair's natural texture. I began researching ingredients, learning formulation, and paying attention to what actually worked for curly hair. What started as a personal passion soon turned into a purpose: to help other women feel confident, supported and seen in their natural beauty. 

That purpose led me to create Rooted in Curls, my own line of curl friendly, moisture-rich, growth-focused hair care products designed specifically for textured hair. Every product is made with intention - to nourish, define, and protect your curls without the harsh or drying ingredients.

As my brand continues to grow, I expanded into RiC Beauty Supply - offering everyday beauty essentials and hair care staples to make your routine more accessible, convenient and aligned with your texture's needs.
